Jeff Robinson Interviewed by Compliance Magazine Duluth, GA—April 16, 2007. Jeff Robinson, CSP, P.E. was featured in an interview that appeared in the “Speaking With” section of the January / February 2007 issue of Compliance Magazine. Mr. Robinson is the President of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the Manager of Safety & Health Services at Harrington Group, Inc. He has more than 22 years of experience in fire protection engineering, property loss control (HPR), occupational Safety & Health, facility operations, and project management. In addition to BCSP, Mr. Robinson is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). The article featured in Compliance Magazine discussed Mr. Robinson’s expert view on the changing role of the safety professional, new programs and advancements the BCSP will be developing for 2007, as well as upcoming trends for the Safety & Health profession over the next few years. Mr. Robinson feels that the outlook for the safety professional is quite positive. As more companies and institutions are requiring safety certification for their safety professionals, BCSP is implementing several programs to ensure skills and competency levels of those professionals are exceeding expectations. | |
