Jim Rucci Addresses Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers
March 2002 - Jim Rucci spoke at the Atlanta Chapter meeting of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). His presentation, "Fire Alarm System Design", was well received by the 100 attendees. Jim also made a presentation of "Electric Fire Pumps" to IEEE in 2001, and has been invited to return in 2003 for another presentation.

Jeff Harrington Writes Peer Review for EPA Report
March 2002 - Jeff Harrington was one of three persons asked to perform a peer review of a report written by Robert Wickham for the Halon Alternatives Research Corporation. The USEPA-sponsored report, "Status of Industry Efforts to Replace Halon Fire Extinguishing Agents", denotes the progress that government and industry are making to utilize non-ozone depleting alternatives to halons in the fire protection sector. NFPA Journal Quotes Jeff Harrington
March 2002 - Jeff Harrington was interviewed by Ann Freestone, author of "Finding a Halon Alternative". The article was published in the March/April issue of NFPA Journal. As Chair of the NFPA 2001 Halon Alternative Committee, Jeff gave current, hands-on information and was quoted numerous times in the article.
